Their shelters are built to exceed ICC 500 and FEMA P-320/P-361 standards, and are independently tested by Texas Tech University’s National Wind Institute to withstand EF-5 tornadoes.

- The shelters feature 1/4" cold-rolled steel construction, a fully welded 6-sided design with a steel floor, and reinforced 3/4" corners.
- Valley Storm Shelters utilizes a proprietary CORELOCK™ Anchoring System, extending 28" into the concrete, alongside 3/4" wedge anchors.
- The 310 lb. vault-like door opens inward to prevent entrapment, features three 1.25" steel locking pins, and includes a Medeco pick-proof/drill-proof deadbolt and bullet-resistant peephole.
- The company offers full installation within 100-200 miles of their Huntsville, AL and Murfreesboro, TN showrooms, and drop-shipping with self-installation options nationwide.
